Puppies and Kittens

We want your newest family member to get off to the best possible start, so we recommend all puppies and kittens received health checks at 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age.

We examine all puppies and kittens with one of our veterinarians to monitor their weight and growth, spot any health issues, administer the correct dose of parasite prevention, and most importantly teach them that a visit to the vet is a wonderful experience full of cuddles and treats!

Your precious little one will have a complete nose to tail health check at each of our consultations! A stool sample should be brought for their first visit to look for intestinal parasites. The general examination performed by our vets when seeing your little bundle includes:

• Nose to tail examination
• Discuss behavioural concerns
• Offer advice on season specific parasite control
• Give advice on neutering and spaying
• Offer recommendations on dental health and diet
• Update vaccination status
• Give socialization and training tips
• Address any other concerns or questions you may have
