Recognizing any change in your pet's general health, weight, or behaviour can help identify emerging disease early. Weight loss, changes in drinking/eating, vomiting or stool changes are all things we ask about at general health exams to help determine if your pet may have an underlying illness.

When we have concern about a possible underlying health condition, we may recommend lab tests (diagnostics), to help confirm or rule out certain diseases. This could be blood work, urine or fecal testing, or imaging depending on the illness in question.
